I am considering purchasing a NHB TC25D. Does anyone know if the "SuperSteer" works well?? Any experience?? Also, will this machine handle a 72" mid-mount deck? I have lots of trees to mow around. Also, tell me about the price. I've been quoted $16,500 for the TC25D SuperSteer, 72" deck, & industrial tires. Is that fair? Also, thinking of the JD 4200 hydrostat. Any thoughts?

I have supersteer on my TC25D. It is way more handy than I had anticipated. I have a loader and backhoe on it with turf tires. Even with all that weight, I was able to drive around on my lawn and manuver in my backyard without tearing up the lawn. Well worth having. I would really miss supersteer. ....

I just bought a TC25D with SuperSteer FWD and R4 tires for $13,800. The dealer was Alachua Tractor & Equipment Company in Alachua (near Gainesville), Florida. SuperSteer FWD is well worth the extra money... about $800. ....
